Bowman’s 18 Kills, 4 Blocks Help Chargers to 6th Straight Win

Playing on the road for the second time in as many nights, the Carl Sandburg College volleyball team won its sixth straight match with a 25-13, 25-22, 25-16 sweep of Lincoln JV on Wednesday.
The Chargers (6-2) were led by 18 kills and four blocks from sophomore Peyton Bowman (Sciota, Ill./West Prairie).
Setter Cora Vyhnanek (Colchester, Ill./West Prairie) had 35 assists for the Sandburg, and Emily Bloomer (Burlington, Iowa/Burlington) had 13 digs. Sophomore Tearaney Eads served up a team-best two aces.
